The piano from "Big" ain't got nothin' on these.
Montreal, while already a wonderful city, just received an addition that citizens can't help but adore.
Currently on display as a part of Place Des Festivals, a public festival for various urban art, is "Impulse," a set of 30 interactive, musical seesaws.
The project was a collaboration between Canadian experimental design firms, CS Design and Lateral Office.
When used, the seesaws emit an array of both light and sound, creating an organic flurry of melodies.
“Once in motion, the built-in lights and speakers produce a harmonious sequence of sounds and lights, resulting in a constantly evolving ephemeral composition,” one organizer of the event says.
And as you can see, it's one of those things that makes adults wish they could be kids again.
Fittingly, the project also won the 6th annual Luminothérapie - or "light therapy" event.
"Impulse" is only on display until January 31, so Montreal citizens are getting as much light therapy as they can until then.
