This Photographer Catches The Greatest Faces Dogs Make Right Before Catching A Treat

We knew dogs loved treats, but this just puts things in a whole new light.

You know that moment when you toss your dog a treat and its eyes light up right before it snatches it out of midair?

Along with the multitude of other ridiculous faces dogs make while snatching a tasty treat, of course.

German photographer Christian Vieler lives for capturing exactly that...

Because no one dog is the same - and no two dogs make the same faces when devouring a snack from midair.

But regardless of the dog, the faces are always absurdly entertaining...

Hence why Vieler loves photographing them so much.

“Every shoot I am looking for that specific moment when the dog is looking as cute or funny as they can be,” Vieler tells the Daily Mail.

But it's not as easy as you'd think - he only has a few fractions of a second to capture their expressions.

“I have to master the challenge of what to do and when to do it in order to get the best results out of the day..."

But when he does get it right, it's beyond worth it.

The talented photographer knows that without the incredible cameras we have nowadays...

We would never be able to capture and truly appreciate things like hilarious treat-snatching faces dogs make.

“That cannot be seen without the power of freezing motion – dog’s faces with magnificent lineaments, telling us stories of panic, desire and joy.”

Of course, few can appreciate them more than Vieler himself. After all, he is the one taking the pictures.
