Steve Harvey Named The Wrong Miss Universe And It Was Pretty Much The Most Awkward Thing

In case you haven't already heard, while hosting the Miss Universe pageant for the first time, comedian and TV personality Steve Harvey made a blunder for the ages.
Incredibly, Harvey misread the results card for the winner of the world renown beauty pageant as Columbia, when it was actually the Philippines. The ensuing moments were about as unbearably awkward as live TV gets.
First, Harvey incorrectly announces Miss Columbia as the winner, and naturally, she's overcome with joy.
Amazingly, no one seems to catch the mistake as she's given flowers, her national flag, and the Miss Universe sash.
And yes...even the Miss Universe crown.
Then, after several minutes of celebration, we hear Harvey sheepishly say, "I have to apologize..." and immediately, Miss Philippines seems to know what's happened.
Soon after, Harvey nervously corrects the mistake and Miss Philippines is called up to join Miss Columbia at center stage.
The two are also joined by 2014's Miss Universe, who ironically enough, is also from Columbia.
Then, in possibly the most awkward moment in beauty pageant history, 2014's Miss Universe removes the crown from runner up Miss Columbia's head...
Their faces...they say it all.
Miss Columbia: "You gotta be f*cking kidding me..."
Miss Universe 2014: "Welp...this is awkward as hell."
Miss Universe 2015: "This is not how my dream went..."
Annnnnnnd wait for it...
The unbearably awkward faces continue...
And crowns the real Miss Universe 2015, Miss Philippines.
Honestly, it's a feat to even be able to smile with some semblance of sincerity after that train wreck and a half. You can't help but feel bad for everyone involved, even Harvey. Hell, especially Harvey.
The ashamed Harvey took to Twitter to publicly apologize for the gargantuan blunder...
And also apologized to the millions of fans and viewers who witnesses the incident as well.
That's okay Steve. We all make mistakes - ours just aren't on global television. You'll be okay though, big guy. In a week this will all blow over. Just don't plan any vacations to Columbia any time soon.
