Kendall and Gigi were filming a commercial in Venice Beach over the summer when they spotted John, who was living homeless in the California hotspot.

Kendall suggested he give male modeling a shot, and connected him to her manager to help him sign with Los Angeles modeling agency Two Management.

"It was a one in a billion chance meeting those girls. Right off the bat they mentioned I should do modeling," John told the Daily News.

John, originally from Milwaukee, acted in TV commercials as a kid. After dropping out of college, he moved to California where he's been traveling around on his skateboard and crashing on friends' couches.

"They don’t have that rich-girl vibe," John said of the models. "Gigi was bubbly and funny. She was definitely more rambunctious. Kendall was more laid back, I can see a little hippie vibe."

Since meeting KenGi, John has gone on several modeling auditions, and ended up signing with Two Management.

While he hasn't kept in contact with Kendall and Gigi, he has however, kept in touch with their pal Ansel Elgort.
