Even If You Don't Love The Look Of These Beardbaubles, The Background Story Is Great
A staple in the holiday season is decorating the house with various ornaments. It can be the outside of the house with lights. It can be nativity scenes. It can be random little trinkets around the interior of the house. Mostly, it's done on a Christmas tree, and there's no need to explain how that goes. The thing is, all that decorated holiday spirit is left at home when you leave. Well, a British ad agency has changed that with Beardbaublles: ornaments to hang on your beard–for jolly mobility.
Aside from the fact these are meant to be hung from a man's flowing facial locks, these ornaments are in remembrance of friends standing up for one another. Mike Kennedy and Pauline Ashford of Grey London (ad agency) had a friend affected by melanoma, and as they explain:
"We ditched our shavers to share Wes’ story with everyone who asked about our beards, and encourage them to have a skin check."
The video provides a caption with the essential shopping list, as follows:
• Multicolored baubles (2cm diameter or less)
• Mini Kirby grips (Bobby pins)
• Polypropylene bags (ask a local sweet/candy shop for one)
• A Stapler
So, decorate your house and your face this year and have the holiest, jolliest Christmas ever!
