Cats vs. dogs. It's a never-ending war in the fight for supremacy in the land of domestication. Who will win? Well, since it's never-ending, apparently neither species will reign over the throne of households as the sole ruler, but thanks to Erik Stehmann, a Netherlands based designer, cats now have a little something extra they can practice on.
The aptly named DOG scratching post is the best way for cats to let out their frustrations on their mortal enemies, and practice for pending battles.
Here, you can see this guy practicing the "eye-gouge" maneuver that can render dogs blind. There's not a more purrrfect approach than this sneak attack.
This frumpy feline can be seen practicing the "back-breaker" by using its weight to slow the dogs mobility and then commence scratching to the sides of the neck.
This trio is practicing their "swarm" technique: as the previously mentioned frumpy feline does the "back-breaker" the other two scratch the living hell out of the dog's legs.
Here you can see all the cat vs. dog war techniques being practiced on the DOG in a video provided by Stehmann.
What do you think? Seems like cats are ready to take over the (domesticated) world. There's also a smaller version called PUP that is available to begin training on kittens from an early age.
