She claims he's the "worst gift wrapper ever," but we're having a hard time believing that...
Sheila, a 27-year-old graphic designer from the San Francisco Bay Area, or as she's known on Reddit, "zannrael," became bored with traditional gift wrapping a while back...
So now, each year, she comes up with a different theme for making her gifts unconventionally wrapped.
This year's was "food." And since Sheila's already finished with her wrapping, we all get to enjoy her creative handiwork...
Which is pure awesome. Just take these Gundam figurines that she turned into butter for example.
For this Shel Silverstein book, she decided to turn it into a nice, juicy sirloin.
She even made her own custom faux grocery store label, which added a lot to the gifts.
Which wasn't as difficult as one might imagine, considering her graphic design background.
What about this sticker book?
How about a nice thick slab of rainbow trout.
This one's tricky. What could she be doing with tin foil?
Hershey's chocolate. That's what.
“I’ve tried to wrap our holiday gifts in unusual ways, just to mix things up a bit,” she told Upvoted. “It’s fun because the reactions I usually get are, ‘What the fuck is that?!’ or ‘I need to know what’s in this!'”
We all have our own methods for gift wrapping - some more aesthetically pleasing than others...
But Sheila's seems to have taken the cake...and the cheese.
As far as her whole "worst gift wrapper" claim goes, we're not too convinced.
