This Chicago Based Company Must Be Making the Biggest Ice Sculptures in the World
Nadeau's Ice Sculptures in Forest Park, Illinois has been wowing Chicago with its incredible ice sculptures for 35 years now. You won't believe some of their creations.
The structures are created with a "show life" of 6-8 hours, meaning that it will take at least that much time for the structures to begin to melt and lose detail. But they usually last much longer.
Seriously, how do you get ice to do that, especially knowing it will eventually melt?
This Eiffel Tower is pretty spot on, if you ask me.
Hey Chicago.
I don't know what this party was for, but I wish I'd been invited.
Again, not sure what the event was. Probably something peacock-themed. Regardless, the bar and the peacock look great. Such intricate, beautiful detail.
Complete with live fish! Just kidding. They look pretty convincing though.
I know I'd feel like a baller.
Note: not true to scale.
