Relive The 10 Best AMAs Moments, Including Jennifer Lopez's Sexy Opening Dance Number
From Nicki Minaj throwing shade at J. Lo to Justin Bieber dancing in the rain, the 2015 AMAs certainly did not disappoint.
J. Lo is one of the most captivating performers out there - so when she took the stage to celebrate all the incredible music of 2015 by getting down to the hottest music of the year, it was definitely an experience. From "Uptown Funk" to "Anaconda" to "Hotline Bling," there wasn't a dull moment in J. Lo's sexy dance number.
While J. Lo showed off her best booty-bumping skills with a handful of hot dancers during Nicki's song, "Anaconda," the camera panned to the rapper in the audience who appeared TOTALLY DISINTERESTED.
NO ONE SAW THIS COMING.
This performance was absolutely touching. The AMAs are a fun show, but it's moments like this that bring it down to earth by recognizing troubling moments like the Paris attacks. Celine took the stage to sing Edith Piaf's "L'hymne à L'amour" while standing in front of a screen of Paris landmarks. She moved the audience to tears.
It's been 20 years since Alicia and Jeremy co-starred in the '90s cult classic, and the two reunited on stage bringing back all kinds of memories.
Speaking of the '90s, Alanis Morissette gave the audience a great flashback by performing her huge hit "You Oughta Know," with Demi Lovato. These two rocked together. Demi also sang her hit "Confident" off of her new album, and turned heads with her powerful voice and the amazing flapper dress she wore.
Totally unexpected, but totally cool. The former Jo Bro has been making his comeback as a solo artist over the past year, and he's proven that he has an incredible future in music. He shocked his fans by performing with a gospel choir on stage, and it was actually awesome.
It was a big night for The Weeknd, who won early in the night for Favorite Soul/R&B Album for Beauty Behind the Madness, which was his first ever AMA. His sexy performances always make the crowd go nuts, but when he performed surrounded by flames, he got celebs like Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor, Wiz Khalifa and Justin Bieber straight up vibing in the crowd.
What a way to close out the show. The same day his new album Purpose debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, the Biebs proved that he's officially made his comeback by performing a show-stopping medley of three songs. He started out with an acoustic version of "What Do You Mean?" before transitioning into the Jack Ü produced, "Where Are U Now" and then ended the show with an energetic performance of "Sorry" where he literally danced in the rain.
