This May Ruin The Serene And Tranquil Feelings You Had About Bob Ross' Paintings
Could it... could it be true? Is Bob Ross' reality just like those we've seen in The Road and Mad Max? Redditor greggawatt seems to think so.
/r/FanTheories is a subreddit (or forum) on the popular website reddit. On the subreddit, users can speculate about TV shows, books, movies, etc.
Okay, maybe not so much "chopping block," but user greggawatt's theory concerning Bob Ross does scrutinize the PBS star's paintings–which are noticeably (for the most part) absent of any humans–and it's pretty hilarious.
"Bob Ross paintings always feature nature scenes, and he mentions Animals but rarely mentions humans. His paintings do feature man-made structures, but never with individuals in them, they are long abandoned. There are two examples of humans in his paintings, but we can consider those are scenes featuring the last few humans left on earth. Also cabins in his scenes lack chimneys, suggesting the chimneys fell down some time ago."
Not. One. Human. At least not in these statistics. Greggawatt claims to have found two though. Still–that's a sparse population.
Check out the ominous black background. Could he actually be outside? Is the world just one giant, post-apocalyptic void?
Just watch an episode and decide for yourself if greggawatt's theory holds up.
