The quest for the perfect selfie continues.

By now, we're all familiar with this horrendous contraption ruining vacations and concerts everywhere.

AKA the selfie stick.

Well, this Japanese man has taken the selfie stick to a new level with his "Selfie Arm"

The selfie stick's metal rod was visible in pictures which annoyed Mansun, and made him embarrassed to use it in public.

So he modified them, adding a plastic hand and super long sleeves to hide the rod.

His design and process was posted on the Japanese website Omocoro.
