A real "star" indeed.
Meet April Star, a 10-year-old model whose confidence, spirit, and general adorableness are winning the Internet.
When Star was six years old, she was diagnosed with vitiligo, a chronic skin condition in which portions of skin lose their pigment and create blotches.
Star fell victim to bullying when her skin began to change, causing her to feel sad on a daily basis.
But thanks to role models like her mom and model Winnie Harlow, who also have vitiligo, she started to accept and embrace her skin.
Check out this video of when Star was sweetly surprised by her idol, Harlow, on an episode of The Real.
"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring," she says.
She told BuzzFeed that if she could redefine beauty, it would be about personality and generosity.
Star appeared in a campaign for kid's clothing store Love My Alannah, and she will be featured in an upcoming issue of "Essence" magazine.
Keep on shining on, girlie! Star without a doubt has a bright future ahead of her.
