Do You Recognize These 10 Celebrity Game Show Contestants Back In The Day?

by N/A, 10 years ago | 1 min read

We all start somewhere!

Celebrities hollywood FAME Celebs Non-Premium

1. Jon Hamm on "The Big Date"

Just call him Jon "Fabulous" Hamm!

The Mad Men star was on The Big Date game show in 1996 before he had any acting credits under his belt. Not so sure Don Draper would be impressed by Hamm's lack of game and vocabulary skills though. (Love you, Jon <3)

2. Aaron Paul on "The Price is Right"

Aaron was definitely one enthusiastic game show contestant...

The Breaking Bad actor was on The Price is Right in 2000, when he was breaking into Hollywood as an actor. I can only imagine he was this ecstatic when he scored the role of Jesse Pinkman.

3. Steve Martin on "The Gong Show"

Funny guy Steve Martin appeared on The Gong Show where he showed off his banjo playing skills. He's actually not too bad!

4. Arnold Schwarzenegger on "The Dating Game"

Well hello, Arnold Schwarzenegger. In 1973, Schwarzenegger appeared on The Dating Game when he was known as "Arnold Strong 'Mr. Universe'" and had been in one film, Hercules in New York.

5. Lady Gaga on "Boiling Points"

Before Lady Gaga became one of pop music's leading ladies, 19-year-old Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta played a college student on MTV's prank show, Boiling Points. The best part is watching her freak out after a waitress brings out her food with garbage.

6. Joey Fatone on "Nick's Arcade"

Yup... before he became an *NYSNC heartthrob, Joey Fatone captured the hearts of many by completing challenges on Nickelodeon Arcade.

7. Kirstie Alley on "Match Game"

Before starring in Cheers, Kirstie Alley was an interior designer from Wichita, Kansas trying to make it as an actress. She appeared in Match Game and actually killed it, winning $6,000. Cha-ching.

8. Farrah Fawcett on "The Dating Game"

Before Farrah Fawcett landed the role on Charlie's Angels, she was a guest on The Dating Game, and had to choose from three bachelors who she'd want to date.

9. Britney Spears on "Star Search"

Yep... it's Britney bitch! Before becoming a pop sensation, a 10-year-old Britney Spears sang "Love Can Build A Bridge" on Star Search... clearly, she was going places.

10. Billy Crystal on "$20,000 Pyramid"

Before Billy Crystal rose to fame from his leading role in When Harry Met Sally, he was busy ruling the game show world in the '70s and '80s. He was on The Hollywood Squares and The 20,000 Pyramid. Crystal actually holds the record as the fastest contestant to get his partner to the top of the pyramid - an honorary title to hold!
