A reddit user was recently driving down a dirt road near Orangeburg, SC, when he discovered something creepy...

...actually, a little more than creepy.

What he found, after taking a wrong turn down the foreboding backwoods road, were trees lined with various animal skulls and odd assortments of bones.

Jesus, is that a human skull in there?

Luckily, our redditing friend didn't become part of the strange bone collection.

Definitely don't think the "No Trespassing" sign is necessary. The bones really say it all.

I mean, why would you even stop to take pictures? I'd nope my way out of there so fast.

Where did all these bones, skulls, and strange totems come from?

Are they leftover Halloween decorations, or are they something much, much more sinister?
