She's the first to win with a collection for plus-size women.
Ashley Nell Tipton is the first plus-size designer to win the fashion design reality competition Project Runway.
The show has been on the air for 11 years and Tipton is the first plus-sized designer in the shows history.
She recently won the 14th season of the show with unique and feminine designs.
She was inspired to begin designing because, as a plus-size woman, she could never find the clothes she wanted to wear in her size when she was growing up.
She wasn't always at the top of the competition and had a hard time in some of the group challenges.
But her final collection, inspired by 1950s-era Mexico City proved that she deserved the win.
“I’m trying to put plus-size on the map,” she told BuzzFeed News. “We can be fashion-forward.”
