We've been on the edge of our seats to see Eddie Redmayne in the Harry Potter spinoff, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, and now we have our very first look! *Cue excited fangirl screams*
IT'S HERE. This is not a drill. Behold, the very first look at Eddie Redmayne in the highly-anticipated "Harry Potter" spinoff, "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them."
Two years ago, J.K. Rowling told fans she was writing the screenplay for the Harry Potter prequel, and naturally, the Harry Potter fandom has been dying in anticipation ever since. Better yet, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is the first film in a trilogy of screenplays that Rowling is writing.
Redmayne will be playing the lead role of Newt Scamander, a world-famous magical zooligist, or rather a "magizoologist," who embarks on an adventure in 1926 New York.
THAT BRIEFCASE. THAT BOW TIE. HE'S PERFECT.
Here's a few more shots of Redmayne in "Fantastic Beasts" that "Entertainment Weekly" recently released.
Excuse us while we die of excitement.
