And we can't wait.
It's been 18 years since J.K. Rowling brought us the series that changed our childhoods.
Since then she's ventured to adult novels including The Casual Vacancy, and a crime series under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.
She's had amazing success, topping charts left and right, as expected, because she's just that talented.
But she announced in a BBC radio interview that she has an idea for a new children's novel.
In fact, she is already working on it: "Actually, I have written part of a children's book that I really love so I'm definitely going to finish that."
"Novels in the plural."
Yes, these novels will be written under Jo's name once again.
Though the new novels are likely not Harry Potter-related.
And even after 7 novels, 8 movies, a play, theme parks and countless spin offs, we're always ready for more.
