Don't Even Say You Like Sushi if You Eat It Like This
If you use the children's chopsticks with a rubber band, you NEED these tips.
Noted former chef and food critic, Anthony Bourdain, comedically dissects the art of eating sushi in a way only a cynical food critic could. With his 6 "rules" of sushi etiquette, Bourdain attempts to rarify the tastes of the masses and tells regular sushi lovers everywhere the error of their ways.
But will it change the way I eat sushi? Probably not.
And don't you DARE use a fork.
Unless, Bourdain quips, "you want to watch your rice crumble and disintegrate into an unholy mess in the wasabi slurry that you probably already made."
Instead, after tasting, if your sushi needs soy, lightly dip it fish-side down.
Hopefully you're not in an establishment where this is even a concept in question.
"Don't get me wrong," he reasons. "I love mayo...but it belongs no where near raw fish."
"You know the ones; unst, unst, unst music is playing in the background edamame comes with a cloud of dry ice." These may be the very location where "so fresh" sushi of rule 3 is a rarity.
