Jessica Dance is an art director, model maker and prop stylist from London. Recently, she was highlighted in Stylist magazine for her knitted works that look deliciously real. This was part of their comfort food edition, and what's more comfortable than a recreation of the food that warms your belly that you can literally snuggle up to? Probably nothing would be our guess.
So, meet Dance and her dog Wallace. Stylist interviewed her about a day in the life of a model maker and showed off some of her best knitted works.
In fact, they featured one of her delicious looking knitted spreads on the cover of the magazine. This bangers and mash dish with peas complimented by all the condiments and spices you'd ever need definitely looks comforting.
Here's a closer look at the intricate details of the mustard if you were curious.
And she creates assorted cheeses as well. Here's a block of swiss cheese that we could easily mistake for the real thing.
Dance creates all of her 'recipes' using 100% lambswool on a domestic knitting machine. Want a treat after that bangers and mash? How about some chocolate?
And, this is her spread from inside the magazine. Beans on toast–another hearty spread for the readers to indulge in.
Don't worry, she didn't forget about breakfast delights. This doughnut looks absolutely cozy.
All of these works are fittingly a part of the comfort food addition, and readers had plenty of input about what their favorites are. Feel free to opine on the subject by responding here:
So, be sure to follow Dance on Instagram, because she's been creating wool delicacies for awhile now.
And even puts them into action from time to time.
