They're literally living plush toys.
Squirrels may very well be pests in more ways than one, but flying squirrels? They're an entirely different breed.
And they're absolutely adorable - specifically Japanese and Siberian Flying Squirrels.
Aside from being some of the cutest damn animals on the planet, the two squirrels are also the last two families left of their genus, "Old World flying squirrels."
And unlike most mammals, the two don't hibernate during the winter. They do however sleep for several days at a time during colder months.
Now, I'm no zoologist...
But that seems like a perfect time to sneak up on them and take a few home.
