Rich McCor is a photographer who takes "photos with paper & sometimes without." What does that mean?Â
He explained in his post for BoredPanda: "I decided I would become a tourist in my own city–I wanted to see the London that I ignored, to explore the landmarks and the quirky history. I started researching for interesting facts and began thinking about how I could photograph the sites in an original way." His project quickly picked up steam, and now he's seen most of Europe doing just that.
His first idea came while visiting Big Ben in London. He decided to make it look like a personal wristwatch.
When a family saw him doing this and took interest it sparked his excitement to take more similar photos. So he went to the London Eye...
And Trafalgar Square. He also began including quirky facts about each photo and the inspiration behind them in the captions.
So, when his Instagram endeavor got the attention of Lonely Planet, he was given the chance to visit France...
Amsterdam...
Denmark...
Sweden...
And of course, he's still doing whimsical creations in his hometown of London...
We can't wait to see what little factoid Rich plans to drop on us, and where his paper cutouts lead him next. What an adventure he is leading, right?!
Be sure to follow all of his adventures on Instagram.Â
