This First-Grader Just Kept A 60-Year-Old Family Tradition Going With This Picture

While some traditions are based in logic and rationale, most...well, most just aren't. But that doesn't make them any less awesome.
To most, this probably just looks like an old, tacky sweater. But to the Gose family and its most recent recipient, 7-year-old Brady, it's a very special, old, tacky sweater.
Hailing all the way back to 1954, this retro wool was first worn by Brady's great Uncle Mark in his first-grade yearbook photo.
And boy did he pull it off.
Then last nearly 30 years later, Brady's father, Chuck, rocked it in 1982.
Chuck told TV station WRTV that the sweater was an opportunity for "Brady to learn more about the grandfather he never got to know."
He went on to say, "When I handed it to him, he naturally asked a lot of questions about his grandpa. The two of them are actually pretty similar."
Brady's dad hopes he'll continue the tradition with his own son, should he have one.
Because lord knows a girl isn't gonna be psyched to wear that sweater. Hell, who even knows if sweaters will be a thing 25 years from now. Maybe we'll all be wearing bio-degradable, solar powered tunics.
In any case, judging by the excitement on his face, Brady seems committed to passing on the tradition torch.
