Instead Of Using Like And Dislike Buttons, Facebook Now Offers Emojis For Your Emotions

Remember when you were excited about the Facebook 'Dislike' button? Well, it's finally here, but in a little bit different of a spirit than what you were expecting. Facebook is rolling out a testing phase of expressive emojis that can serve as you reaction to a post, in addition to still just 'liking' it.
So you see a post on Facebook that you (literally) like, or at least want to react to...
Say it's excitement for one of your friend's announcements...
A simple 'like' is to blasé for that! Now you can say "Yay" instead.
Or, maybe they've posted an update that you want to show support of, but it's clearly not something you 'like'...
Now you can show that support, but in a more meaningful way.
Chris Cox, Facebook Chief Product Officer, shared this post (on Facebook, of course) explaining the details of the feature. The "reactions" you can have include: Love, Haha, Yay, Wow, Sad, and Angry.
One thing is for sure, we know how we feel about this new feature...
Hopefully it moves on from testing and we'll get to keep it for good.
