The Martian is a new film by Ridley Scott starring Matt Damon, who goes on a mission to Mars, and is then left behind. He's forced to survive, and we don't don't want to spoil anything, but the film is getting high praise for itsÂ accurate portrayal of science. Some people might even say too accurate, because they think it's real.

Was he really there? Was this based on someone who did this? These people think so.

Members of these families think so, and it's alarming to those who know it's notâ€¦

Do any of your friends think it's based on a true story? This guy's friend doesâ€¦

And so does this person, who you'd think would be smarter than you, but clearly is notâ€¦

You could've witnessed the end of a relationship, because one person was dumb enough to think this is realâ€¦

Or about to end yours right now for the same reasonâ€¦

Bozos at your local coffee shop could be clogging up the WiFi with their blabbering of nonsenseâ€¦

This debacle could make you want to punch a stranger (in public) in the faceâ€¦

Somebody could even be ruining your experience while currently watching the movieâ€¦
