Like palm trees in Florida or hipsters in Portland, when you see things like these, you'll know you're in Russia.
1. Where else were they supposed to park it? The garage was full.
2. Moving trucks are a limited commodity. Plus, this just builds character.
3. Domesticated bears. Now why do we not allow that in the U.S? Oh that's right, because they're bears.
4. When you find a pair of flip flops in Russia, you hold on to them. Tightly.
5. Training for the winter olympics. And this is just for curling.
6. Even at work, they train.
7. "Privacy? Vhat is dis privacy you speak of."
8. Pain conditioning is encouraged at a young age. Again, it builds character.
9. Where we might have squirrels or deer, they have tanks.
10. Their definition of "convenience stores" is a little different from most's.
11. And their playgrounds are more like living-nightmare-grounds.
12. The royalty are surprisingly modest - like Robert Downy Jr. type of chill.
13. Their urban planners aren't necessarily the brightest bulbs...
14. But their gnarly architecture definitely picks up the slack.
