Sweden's Most Famous Attraction Is This Hotel…When You See Inside, You'll See Why

There are a number of incredible, lavish hotels around the world that provide unparalleled luxuries and indescribable service, but perhaps some of the most fascinating, even more than these, are the fabled ice hotels.
The original ICE HOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden, is a quintessential example. The frozen paradise, built in 1989, comes with 5-star accommodations and all the same luxuries of a Ritz Carlton or Hilton. But what sets apart is its sheer artistry and design. You'll see what I mean.
1. The Deluxe Suite
These are ICE HOTEL's largest suites, and certainly most ornate. Along with a king bed and bathroom, they also include an elegant dining room.
Each room also features it's own uniquely beautiful piece of ice art.
The bathrooms are also heated - but not enough to melt the ice - and they also come with an isolated sauna room.
And of course, the main attraction is the king sized, fur-covered bed, with a headboard so beautiful it could be in a museum.
2. And then there's the Art Suite.
There are a total of 16 different variations of Art Suites, and each is distinctly designed and carved by hand.
Renowned artists from around the world are selectively chosen, each designing a theme. And as you can see, no one suite is remotely similar to the next.
But they are undoubtedly all equally breathtaking.
But they are undoubtedly all equally breathtaking.
3. And finally, The Northern Lights Suite
And it's exactly what you'd imagine it to be - a recreation of Aurora Borealis, done by a mixture of animated lighting.
They are, in the words of the hotel's owners, their way of "celebrating the beauty of the Northern Lights."
And what a celebration it is.
So what do you think. You think you could "stick it out" for a few nights in Sweden's ICE HOTEL. Something tells me you'd at least be willing to give it a try.
