Stop Drinking Coca-Cola…Well, If That's Not Enough To Convince You, This New Logo Will Be
For over 100 years, millions - if not billions of people have enjoyed a cold, refreshing Coke at one point or another. But over the last decade, the soft drink's true colors have been revealed, and each year scientists uncover a new health issue with drinking it.
But despite all of the horrible effects Coke has on your body, people are still drinking it. Nicaraguan designer Fabio Pantoja, a former Coke-lover, was once one of those people. But now, he's showing everyone the honest truth.
In his jarring recreation of the logo, Pantoja depicts all of the internal organs negatively affected by the chemically toxic soft drink.
When warm enough, aspartame converts into formaldehyde - a chemical most commonly used in adhesives and other bonding agents. That means that if you've ever had a sip of lukewarm Coca Cola, you've officially drank the primary substance in super glue. Exposure to or ingestion of formaldehyde has also recently been associated with certain types of cancer. And yes, you read all of that right.
So far having it told hasn't been compelling enough for us to do much of anything about it. So what do you think? Is Pantoja's "graphic" graphic enough for you to kick Coke to the curb? Let's sure hope so.
