Researchers have made a stunning discovery that may be one of the biggest in British archaeological history.

A huge neolithic monument that may date back to 4,500 years ago was discovered near Wiltshire, UK.

The monument is being called "Super Henge," because it's about 12 times the size of Stonehenge.

This new finding is located beneath Durrington Walls and is only 1.9 miles away from Stonehenge. There were about 90 individual stones founds buried in the area.

"Super Henge" is the largest neolithic monument in Britain.

Ground penetrating radar was used to find the stones which stood about three feet underground. Some of them stood about 4.5 meters tall (about 15 feet).
