When Canadian 29-year-old power engineer Nathan Buhler dropped his phone in the Bow River, he didn’t even bother looking for it - obviously, it's at the bottom of a river.
But then, much to his surprise, two weeks later, pictures began showing on his Facebook account...of his phone...on his phone. And they're absolutely priceless.
Nathan Buhler was white water rafting when he lost his phone.
Why he had it with him is beyond me, but let's give him the benefit of the doubt.
Then, roughly two weeks later, this photo of a group of firemen showed up on his Facebook profile.
“My girlfriend sent me a text and said ‘have you seen your Facebook status,’†said Buhler.
Soon, more photos were posted, and the fire department that had presumably found it (somehow) revealed themselves: Calgary.
Then, they started to have some fun with it.
“I even won at ping-pong," the caption read.
Here Buhler's phone is “driving†the fire truck and “using†the hose.
“Just helping the guys make some lunch.â€
“Hey Nathan look at me getting jacked.â€
Eventually, after getting a huge laugh from the posts, Buhler was reunited with the phone, which the firemen had affectionately named “Hector Sanchez.â€
