These ten perfect newborn pandas have just made their first public appearance.Â
Ten baby pandas were born at the Ya’an Bifengxia Giant Panda Breeding Center in China this year.
This is an exciting occasion because of how few pandas are remaining in the world.
The pandas at the center, which is in China's Sichuan province, range from one week to two months old.
This year has been especially successful when it comes to panda births.
There are multiple reports of panda twins having been born this year, which is quite rare.
Panda breeding is especially difficult because giant female pandas can only breed 2-3 days every year.
The deputy minister of Animal Management at the China Conservation and Research Centre, Luo Bo, reported that this was a good year for panda births.
They can also only give birth to one cub every 2 years.
75% of the remaining population live in China's Sichuan province.
The Chengdu Research Base in China is one of the primary conservation sites in the world.
The conservation base recently opened up to allow the public to see the baby panda cubs in person.
