New Zealand native and rockstar dad Alistair Campbell decided to go the extra mile in supporting his daughter, Charlotte, who had just had her second cochlear implant - an electronic hearing aid device for someone severely hard of hearing or legally deaf.
The devices had severely affected her mood, as she began to feel more and more self-conscious for being "different." So, Campbell shaved his head and got a to-scale tattoo of one on his own head.
“[I did it for] my love for her, really," Campbell told the New Zealand Herald.
"Hey, my hair can grow back."
When Charlotte saw his version of a cochlear implant, she giggled, touched it and told him it was "cool".
The best part? Mrs. Campbell says that she's noticed an immense change in her behavior since.
"She wouldn't talk to anybody [and now she's] pretty much a social butterfly," she said.
It's amazing how much supporting your kids through their insecurities can change their outlook on life. Bravo Mr. Campbell, bravo.
