Over 10 years before Swiss army knives went into production, around 1880, inventor and knife-maker John S. Holler created this mammoth of a multi-tool…
The gargantuan gadget has an overwhelming 100 different tools.
In addition to any kind of obscure, singular-purpose blade you could possibly imagine, it also has incredibly unique tools such as as a cigar cutter, a piano tuning lever...
And easily the best, a miniature .22 caliber revolver that could actually shoot small bullets.
It even has even smaller little tools inside! But how on earth do you even use them?!
The tool was made for display in Holler’s store and weighs a whopping 10 pounds - so not necessarily a "pocket knife." It’s currently owned by the Smithsonian who has it on display at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.
