Madeline Stuart is a teen with Down Syndrome. Her story about being an aspiring model was first told here,  and that dream has finally come true as she just signed a contract with Manifesta–an athletic apparel company aimed at showing the beauty of all women and body types.
She's always dreamed of becoming a model.
Doing so with Down Syndrome makes it that much more inspiring.
After losing 44 lbs. for her health, she decided it was time to start chasing that dream.
She's worked extremely hard and gotten a lot of support from her mother.
“She really wants to change the way people discriminate against disability,†said Maddy’s mother
She's now the new face of Manifesta, a U.S. women’s athletic apparel brand.
Which is her first professional contract.
“People with Down syndrome can do anything, they just do it at their own paceâ€
“I think it is time people realized that people with Down syndrome can be sexy and beautifulâ€
“I want people to stop saying ‘I’m sorry’ when I tell them my daughter has Down syndrome, because it’s a very naive statementâ€
“If the average person could see the beauty Maddy has inside, how loving and caring she is and if that is what people measured beauty on, then most of the models in the world would have Down syndromeâ€
