There was a lot of hype going around Amazon's 20th anniversary celebration sale. Prime Day, as they called it, was gonna be the greatest sale the Internet had ever seen. Â In reality? Twitter user @AlexWakehouse said it best "Prime Â Day was a bigger disappointment then I am to my parents."

I mean they went over board hyping this thing

I (and many others) waited with anticipation to see what amazing offers Amazon had in store.Â

I went to the Amazon homepage hoping they'd put their best foot forward with the most mind blowing offer I'd ever seen.

I got this instead...
