Prepare To Cry When You See The Incredible Last Days This Woman Is Giving This Dying Dog

Sadly, there's no Make-A-Wish Foundation for animals. But if there were one, Nicole Elliot could be its president.

The 24-year-old Georgia native recently adopted a sweet dog namedÂ ChesterÂ fromÂ Animal Ark Rescue, who was diagnosed with cancer some time ago. When Elliot saw the charity post about him that read "hospice needed," she decided to take him in and make his last days as fulfilling as possible.

Nicole Elliot couldnâ€™t bear the thought of Chester dying alone. "I fell in love the moment I saw him,â€ she said.

â€œI had to consider it for a while and decide if I could handle it. I decided it would be an amazing experience to take on.â€

The first order of business was getting him a nice clean haircut.

â€œI knew that it would be my responsibility to make his final days the best I could, to mine and his ability."

â€œI am trying to give him normal doggy experiences that he may have never had the chance to have before, and a ton of spoiling.â€

â€œAs you can see his favorite spot is on the center console. I think he feels like a king up there."

â€œOut of all of that his favorite part has been any of the food and treats â€“ he still has a HUGE appetite.â€

â€œHe likes his hair blowing in the wind, but his legs arenâ€™t stable enough to stand and put his head out the window.â€

â€œHe had surgery to remove some tumors. Soon after more tumors started showing up on his body. Today he has many cancerous lumps all over his body.â€

â€œHe is also heart worm positive. [But] he is still so sweet and as perky as could be.â€

Nicoleâ€™s daughter Paisley also does all she can to make Chesterâ€™s final as joy-filled as possible.

And in just a few shorts weeks, they've been able to treat him to a laundry list of pleasures that some dogs never get the chance to experience.

â€œSo far he took a ride with the windows down, he had a famous Nathans hot dog, he had a doggie sundae, he had a milk and oatmeal bath (spa day), he went on a shopping spree where he got a cozy bed, bandannas, lots of treats, and toys.â€

Chester's days are numbered, and his time left is uncertain. But one thing's for sure - he will die a happy dog with a very full heart.

"I told them I was going to make him aÂ bucket list, and keep them updated on Facebook. After the first update it had so many shares, and comments. IÂ am so overwhelmed with all of the love and support. It has really brought this need to the light. I hope it helps other animals like Chester,â€ Elliott told WTVM.
