This Photographer Brings to Life What Comic Book Heroes Would've Looked Like in the 1500s

In his most recent series titled "Family Portrait," French photographer Sacha Goldberger comically captures pop culture and comic book characters dressed in 16th century versions of their traditional garb, posing together in ways reminiscent of Flemish paintings from the era.

In his words, "What if Superman was born in the sixteenth century? And what if the Hulk was a Duke? How might Van Eyck have portrayed Snow White?" One could only imagine it'd look something quite a bit like this.
