This Bacon Ice Cream Sandwich Is Quite Literally The Dessert To End All Desserts

It's not a snack. It's a love affair.
We all know ice cream sandwiches are awesome.
Hell, you could put ice cream between just about anything and it'd taste incredible.
Stuffed between brownies? Ummm, DUH.
Slathered in peanut butter and dipped in chocolate? HELL YES.
But what you haven't tried yet? An ice cream and BACON sandwich. Yes, this is about to happen.
1. How to make it is pretty simple. First, you'll need 16 bacon strips, total. Start by laying 4 strips of bacon down so that they overlap a little.
And yes, I know this is seven strips. Just bear with me people.
2. Then, fold the end of EVERY OTHER strip of bacon over just enough so that you can lay another strip of bacon perpendicular to the other strips.
3. Now, unfold the strips, to achieve a weave over the perpendicular strip.
4. Repeat, this time folding the other two bacon strips back. In order to create the weave pattern, you need to alternate.
5. Do this until all 8 pieces are fully weaved.
*There are 12 here, but again, bear with me.
6. Microwave the weaves separately, each for 3 minutes each, on a paper towel-lined plate with an additional plate on top of the bacon.
7. Then, if you wanna get really meticulous with it, use a cup or mug to cut your bacon weaves into perfect circles.
And voila, a bacon circle that's almost as satisfying to look at as it will be to devour.
Operative word being "almost."
7. For the ice cream, slice about 2 inches off of the bottom of a small container, to create a nicely fitting round.
If you're not that anal, just scoop away.
8. Then stack your perfectly symmetrical round on one of the weaves.
9. And delicately remove the casing.
*Take a moment to collect yourself, this shit's about to get real.
10. Then STACK DEM WEAVES!
11. If you're feeling extra audacious, make another. Hell, make 10 if you want. Otherwise, devour and enjoy. You're welcome.
