1. Pailon del Diablo, Ecuador

The staircase to get to the top in order to see the waterfall is apparently REALLY scary. Good luck!

2. Mt. Huashan, China

This mountain is located in Mount Hua, one of China's five great mountains, and it has some pretty tricky hiking trails. This trail has been coined the "Death Trail" as the walkways are extremely scary and dangerous.

3. Taihang Mountains Spiral Staircase, China

This 300-foot high spiral staircase located in Linzhou is one of China's major tourist attractions. But there are some rules: it's so high and difficult to climb that if you have any heart or lung conditions or are over the age of 60, you are not allowed to climb.

4. Zion National Park, USA

This hiking trail was cut into the rocky mountains at Zion National Park in Utah and is about 3.9 km long. It is scary to some but mostly exciting to hiking enthusiasts.

5. Haiku Stairs, Hawaii

These old stairs were built during World War II by the Navy. There are a total of 3,922 steps and it is a notorious spot for wandering thrill seekers who need an adrenaline rush.

6. Huayna Picchu, Peru

This path attracts a ton of hikers and therefore the trail is limited to 400 walkers per day. The hike is 2,720 meters above sea level and the path can get really slippery. Be careful if you're hiking here!

7. Caminito del Rey, Spain.

This terrifying pathway might be one of the most dangerous trails you could walk. It is located in Andalusia, Spain and was closed after several people died in 1999 and 2000 after attempting to hike the side of this mountain. It has been reopened in March 2015. So hike it if you dare!
