Josephine Skriver's family is entirely unique. She grew up with a mom and dad, just like most people, but both of her parents are gay. She and her brother were both conceived through invitro fertilization. She shared the story of what it was like to grow up with two gay parents and how her travels as a model taught her that her family was different.Â
This is Josephine Skriver. She's a 22-year-old Danish model.
You may recognize her from her work with Gucci, Max Mara, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors and Bulgari.
From a young age, her mother knew that she wanted to have children, but since she is a lesbian, she knew it wouldn't happen by traditional means.
Josephine hopes to share the story of her unconventional family so that children of LGBT parents will feel that their upbringings can be just as traditional as that of any other child.
