French Fries, French Toast...And Now Another Brilliant Food Idea From France

In May 2015, France's Parliament voted in support of a bill that will change the future of leftover groceries in France, and will be doing some serious good in the process.Â
French parliament no longer allows grocers to throw out leftover food that doesn't get sold. Instead, this food MUST be either put into a compost or given to charity.
Socialist deputy Guillaume Garot was the person who proposed the part of the bill that shut down wasting the food, and while the Senate still has to pass the whole bill, we are really hoping that it moves forward.
What a brilliant and meaningful way to eliminate waste!
