If you've never seen kirigami before, you should look up some more after you're done viewing this article. It's pretty incredible.Â
Kirigami is an art. It involves cutting paper in 3D-form to create stunning images. It's simple in terms of medium—an exacto knife, some paper and something to pop out certain images—are really all that are needed, but the technique involved seems to be extremely complex, if the intricacy of the images are any indications.Â
One kirigami artist we've taken a particular shine to is Marc Hagan-Guirey, or "The Paper Dandy."
We like Marc partly for his absolutely incredible level of skill...but also for the fact that he likes to focus on iconic movie scenes, his latest project featuring scenes from the Star Wars films.
Cut Scene is the name of the Star Wars-inspired project, and the shots are both recognizable by any Star Wars fan, and simply stunning to any observer.
