Kansas City, Missouri journalist Esther Honig sent her photo to more than 20 different countries and the results explored the what the female beauty ideal looks like around the world.Â
Esther Honig sent a natural photo of herself to graphic artists all around the world asking them to "make her beautiful."
She was inspired by the fact that Photoshop can create such an unattainable ideal and wanted to get an idea of what that ideal is around the world.Â
