Remember Kevin Blandford, the guy that won the free cruise to Puerto Rico, but pretended to hate every second of it because he couldn't take his wife and newborn daughter?
Well, hilariously enough, after his post went viral and the hotel he stayed at (The Wyndham Rio Mar) caught news of his story, they awarded him the exact same free trip again, making sure his wife and daughter would be able to come. This time around, Kevin took them both to the exact same spots where he was photographed being fake-grumpy, for some much-needed retakes.
This was Kevin when he went the first time...
And this was Kevin and his family on the second trip.
What was once a very empty, lonely room...
Became a very happy room.
They literally tracked down every place Kevin photographed himself...
And took a picture there together.
Manmade waterfalls are only fun...
When you have someone to share them with.
And falling asleep is a lot easier...
When you know you get to wake up to this.
What was once an absolute drag of a trip...
Became a joyous adventure.
Even those fruity cocktails...
They seemed to taste better.
The sun...
It shined brighter.
The air...
It felt crisper.
All in all...
The trip was exponentially better with the whole family there.
And as Kevin would say, unlike the first time...
"Many seconds of fun were had."
