Spinelli's Pizzeria in Louisville, Kentucky, just found their "Employee of the Month."

Scratch that, "Employee of the Year."

Josh Lewis, 19, was on his way to deliver pizzas to Norton Hospital on last Sunday, May 3rd, when a man approached him, demanding the keys to his car.

But when Lewis reached into his pocket for his keys, the man stabbed him in the back, according to a spokesperson of Louisville Metro Police Department.

After doing so, the felon took his keys and absconded with his car.

But that didn't keep Lewis from doing his job, despite having several lacerated muscles and a collapsed lung.

â€œBelieve it or not, he got his pizzas delivered and collapsed in the ER,â€ Spinelliâ€™s regional manager Willow Rouben toldÂ WLKY.

He was then transferred to the University of Louisville for surgery,Â The Courier-JournalÂ reported. Lewis has since been reported to be in stable condition.

â€œHe is doing well and in great spirits,â€ said Mack Welsh, the community group leader at Lewisâ€™ church. â€œHe was really positive and made several jokes, making light of the whole incident.â€

Fittingly, Spinelli's held a Fundraiser on Wednesday for Josh's recovery.

Welsh also started a GoFundMe campaign to help provide financial support for him and his family.
