OK, so maybe it's not Nikola Tesla who is providing Silicon Valley with WiFi from beyond...but a statue of him is!
The statue is the brainchild of Dorrian Porter, an entrepreneur from Silicon Valley who feels a great connection to Tesla, and is extremely inspired by the world famous inventor.
The statue was sculpted by Terry Guyer is equipped with free WiFi and it holds within it a time capsule that will not be opened until July 7, 2043, on the 100th anniversary of Tesla's death.
Here's the Tesla statue doing the same thing all Twitter users do—taking a sun-soaked selfie and sharing it with the world. I mean why not when you've got all that free WiFi and such a *bronze* tone?Â

The extremely witty video really captures the concerns Porter has with the future of entrepreneurship, but challenges viewers to take inspiration from the likes of Tesla. "Don't be robots," it says. Pretty solid advice!
