Having An Artist Design A Flower Garden Is The Ultimate Combo Of Beauty And Creativity
While the traditional way of making a garden truly beautiful is usually about what flowers you grow in it, Japanese art collective, teamLab, decided to deviate from the norm.
Rather than spending all their time on what to grow, the group decided to change the presentation entirely by flipping it on its head - literally. Instead of planting flowers, they hung them from the ceiling - all 2,300 of them. And they didn't stop there...
As one might assume, this is accomplished by way of aerial sensors.
The creators at teamLab explain, "A hemispherical space is constantly being created with the viewer at its center and the viewer is free to move around wherever they want. If many viewers get close to one another, the dome spaces link up to form one single space."
The interactive exhibit is currently on display at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo until May 10, 2015. For more information on it, visit here.
