Redditor slapyogrannyndacreek created a truly awesome headboard using just an old pallet and some LED lights, and we have the directions for you to create one of your own here.
Start with some old wooden pallets
Take the nails out to take the pallet apart
Also probably a good idea to sand it down because the wood can be pretty rough
Stain the wood to your liking
Then start building the frame
Add the boards you removed in a bit of a nice look
It looks cool already, but just wait!
You can run LED lights through holes in the back of the headboard
He even added an outlet in the frame to make it easy to charge electronics you want to keep close
For another very special touch, these glass shelves were built into the headboard
The finished product is incredibly rustic looking
It looks awesome both with the lights on...
And with the lights off!
