This Is What Happens When the Sun and the Moon Are on the Same Page

On April 1, 2015, talented astrophotographer, Göran Strand, brilliantly captured the sun and the moon in perfect harmony.
With both photographs taken on the same day, just 10 hours apart from one another, Strand captures two separate, yet aesthetically identical pictures from the same location - one of the sun and a large, full halo around it during the day, and one of the moon with the same beautiful ring around it at night.
After Strand merges the two photos though, one can see just how perfectly complimentary the two are.
The first photo, the sun, and its magnificent 22° halo...
The second photo, from the exact same spot, of the moon and its 22° halo.
Coalesced, the two already spectacular photos make for one eye-popping gem.
It's difficult to decide which is more impressive: the pictures themselves, or Strand's ability to capture them so perfectly.
