Gemma Correll is a British cartoonist who is sick and tired of the way women are constantly portrayed in society, but instead of complaining about it, she pokes fun of it. Her drawings and doodles below cast light on some of the ridiculous stereotypes women face every day. Take a look.Â
What body shape are you?
I would say most girls are a combination of pizza, broken slinky and the badly drawn dolphin. What do you think?
Correll gets a little bit overdramatic when it comes to "trends men hate"
Horse legs and G.M.O crop tops = LOL
And when it comes to "driving him crazy in bed"
She really knows how to bother them.Â
Corell is really good at being sarcastic with her work.
Everyone can use a little funny sarcasm now and then.
Here she is subtly calling out the obsession with the Disney Princesses
And it is perfect.Â
Gemma Correll hopes her work will enlighten young girls about gender stereotypes and the issues women face because of those stereotypes.Â
She also thinks that the best way to go about a lot of things is by using humor. She even drew this pug below because who doesn't love pugs and everyone deserves a cute, little laugh.
