This guy walked 3,000 miles across China…what did you do today?
Okay, we won’t judge you because you didn’t do much today, but we do want to share with you what this amazing guy did.
Christoph Rehage walked across China and grew a pretty epic beard in the process.
His initial plan was to walk from Beijing to Germany. He didn’t make it all the way there, but he did walk 2,796 miles and experienced many cultures along the way.Â
He walked from Beijing to Ürümqi, which took him over a year and was about 4500 km.
"All of the distance from Beijing to Ãœrümqi was completed solely on foot, straight good old walking. There are instances where you can see me in the video sitting on a plane or riding a boat, but those are during breaks I had to take from walking, either to sort out bureaucracy issues or to take care of some personal things." - ChristophÂ
Christoph says planning this trip took him over a year and obtaining the visas necessary to do this proved to be challenging.
